Daniel Ehrenberg is a Berlin-based producer with more than twenty years of experience in the industry. He started out as set manager and assistant director on numerous film and TV productions. After graduating from Hamburg University with an MA in German Language and Literature Studies, History and Political Science, he started his producing career at Warner Bros. Pictures Germany before joining the independent production company Egoli Tossell Film in 2010.
Daniel’s producer credits include Peter Chelsom’s globe-trotting, feel-good-movie HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS, starring Simon Pegg, Rosamund Pike and Christopher Plummer; the culture clash comedy 3 TURKS AND A BABY as well as GERMANY IN A DAY, Sönke Wortmann’s take on Ridley Scott’s much acclaimed "...in a Day"-format.
In 2018, Daniel launched Eyrie Entertainment, a vibrant production company that focuses on crossover and arthouse films from exciting and diverse new talent. Eyrie’s films are made to attract broad audiences and have the potential to reach far beyond their home territory.
Daniel is a graduate of the EAVE Producer’s Workshop, a member of the German Producers Association and a member of the Association Of German Script Editors, Script Consultants and Dramaturgs (VeDRA).
