Mette ihas a Master's degree in Art and Art Policy from the University of Groningen. With a strong background in the Dutch Film Fund, Mette has held various roles, including project coordinator, general coordinator, and manager of the bureau, where she was part of the management team for several years. In these positions, she led meetings, wrote advisory texts, and developed strategic plans and new subsidy schemes. Mette later worked for the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts, writing advisory texts for long-term funding applications for major cultural film institutions in Amsterdam such as IDFA and the Eye Film Institute. Currently, she works as Head of Operations at Lemming.
