Romain Bessi, the prominent European media executive who has turned Newen Studios and StudioCanal into international success stories, is joining the film and television production alliance The Creatives as its first CEO.

Within The Creatives, Bessi will be responsible for creating a unique, integrated structure for the international alliance and initiating a first round of funding for a new type of studio owned by the producers themselves.

The companies affiliated with The Creatives include Lemming Film (Netherlands), Haut et Court (France), Maipo Film (Norway), Razor Film (Germany), Spiro (Israel), Unité (France), Good Chaos (UK), Masha (US), and Komplizen Film (Germany).
