AMSTERDAM – Fantastic news from Hollywood: Leontine Petit, founder, ceo and producer of Lemming Film, has been officially invited to become a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This means she will join the select group of film professionals with voting rights for the Oscars.

Yesterday, the Academy announced its new list of invitees. This year, 529 film professionals worldwide were selected for their exceptional contributions to the international film industry. Alongside major Hollywood names, 'our own' Leontine Petit is on the list—a wonderful recognition of her years of dedication, leadership, and vision within the independent film community.
