expelled

Jonathan, an eighteen year old guy who enjoys a carefree youth. He dates Marjan, an art academy student who's moving in the world of squatters and punks. Jonathan's best friend Coen has also a girlfriend: Annemiek.
On Sundays however Jonathan and Coen visit people to proclaim the message. They are Jehovah's Witnesses and therefore take great pains to keep their worldly lives hidden for their family and community. Moreover Marjan and Annemiek are kept in the dark as well.
This double life can't persist much longer. Coen freaks out, confesses and also gives Jonathan away. When Jonathan refuses to deny his having sex with Marjan, the consequences are incalculable. Jonathan slowly realises there's no way back.
